Alpacas and alpaca products were first introduced to us in 1997. We have shown alpacas at many shows and enjoy meeting all the wonderful Alpaca Producers out there.

RAINBOW ALPACA RANCH
We live on an 25 acre parcel of land and find Alpacas to be the perfect acreage livestock. We brought home our first Alpacas in 1998, and we have not looked back. We enjoy raising these gentle animals, and have built our herd to the size that we can now offer animals for sale.
At Rainbow Alpaca Ranch we strive to breed the best. We have many award winning alpacas with proven bloodlines. With a wide variety of colours and ages to choose from. We believe we can put together a package that is right for your family and your budget.
Part of our herd consists of Dual Registered alpacas (CLAA and ARI). The remaining alpacas are Canadian Llama and Alpaca (CLAA) registered alpacas. Registries like the CLAA and ARI do not ensure quality. However CLAA has taken steps to improve the quality of the national herd by not allowing alpacas with certain congenital defects to head, neck, body, legs and genitalia of breeding alpacas. The Registries record the bloodline, color, ID, and owners of the alpaca. CLAA registered alpacas can be shown along with ARI registered alpacas at shows following International show rules. CLAA has made changes. All offspring, regardless of Country of birth, of CLAA registered alpacas are eligible for CLAA registration. Offspring of 2 CLAA registered alpacas are eligible for purebred status. Offspring from 1 registered CLAA registered alpaca are eligible for percentage purebred status.

As you can see our herd has really grown since bringing home our first four alpacas. We have a large variety of colors and ages to choose from. We are very proud of what we have accomplished through our breeding program.
